  • Automobile Association Membership – Discount of 5% on the Own Damage Premium subject to a maximum of Rs. 50
  • Discount for Anti-theft devices – A discount of 2.5% on the Own Damage component subject to a maximum for Rs. 200 on installation of Anti-theft devices
  • 50% Discount on the premium for specially designed vehicle for the physically challenged
  • A Discount of 33 % on tariff rate for usage of vehicles within the Insured’s premises

Extension of Covers in a United India Two Wheeler Insurance Policy

  • Geographical Limit – By paying an additional premium to your Insurance policy, you can extend your insurance policy to include countries like Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Maldives. For Package policy, you will have to pay Rs. 500 and for third party liability, you can get the same at Rs. 100.
  • Personal Accident Cover for the pillion riders
  • Covers for Electrical and electronic fittings – By default, these components will not be covered in a Package policy. You have to cover them separately by paying an additional premium of 4% on the value of such fittings

  • Visit https://uiic.in/CustomerAppLive/home.html immediately after the accident. The insured are requested to inform the police department as soon as possible
  • Login to your account with your registered mobile number
  • The Insurance company will send a surveyor who will assess the damage and inform the company
  • Choose the mode of repair that you want to opt for that is cashless or reimbursement and leave the vehicle to the respective garage accordingly.

The break-in period for an expired insurance policy from the date of expiry is 90 days. If the policyholder renews his expired policy within the grace period, they can retain benefits like NCB.
