  • Finfortune a financial company having registered office at 13/17, Senthil Andavar Street, near Waterfall Restaurants, Thangal Karai, Dhanalakshmi Colony, Saligramam, Chennai, Tamil Nadu 600092, , referred to as “Company,” owns and operates the web platform and the mobile application Fincover (collectively referred to as the “Web/App Platform”). When you use the Platform or obtain services through it, you are referred to as “You” or “Your.” We are committed to safeguarding your information through the highest security measures.
  • Our technology partner companies such as Brioworkx IT Services Private Limited may manage the platform and app Fincover from time to time
  • This Privacy policy outlines how the company collects, handles, receives, stores, processes, and discloses personal data and other information. The privacy policy does not apply to information that you provide or information collected by third you access through the links in the platform.

To access all sections and features of Fincover, registration using personal information is required. By downloading and installing the app, anonymous visitor data such as usage patterns is collected by us. This data is combined with other data to gain insights about the usage and make improvements accordingly. 


To use the Fincover app, you will need to create an account with a username and a password

Access Services

To avail our services, you would need to provide us with the following information,

  • Contact information like your name, email address, age.
  • Demographic data like address, Pincode
  • Documentation required under KYC regulations, such as PAN card details, Aadhar Number, etc.
  • Bank details, To confirm that the bank account belongs to you, we require a photocopy of the passbook of the account with your image or a cancelled cheque.
  • If you wish to monitor your investments made outside of Finfortune, we will need your Email ID registered with the mutual fund folios. This ID will be required to send updates about Mutual Fund statements
  • To enable you to read the email, our systems will automatically read your email with the subject “CONSOLIDATED ACCOUNT STATEMENT – CAMS Mail back Request”. This information is then displayed on the app for you to track. Please note that we only read and open emails with this specific subject and assure you that we do not access any other emails.
  • We comply with ITact 2000 and Information Technology (Reasonable security practices and procedures and sensitive personal data or information) Rules, 2011, to safeguard your data
  • Finfortune is a registered Investment advisor and serves as an intermediary between the customers and various financial organizations. To facilitate seamless transactions, we are required to complete your KYC as per regulations, by the government and other agencies. In this process, your information may be shared, verified, or uploaded with the respective agencies to get approval. Additionally, for executing the investments, your information may be provided to financial institutions, Insurers, AMCs, Registrars, and Transfer Agents, KYC Registration agencies in compliance with the regulations. The information we send to the third party for facilitating our service to you will be governed by their terms and conditions.

Personal Data

The Personal Data we may collect from you includes:

  • Personal details like name, contact details, residential address, date of birth, identity card/passport/Aadhaar/PAN/Voter ID/driving license
  • Transaction history, balances, and payment details
  • Details such as income, bank accounts, and mandates may be required to place orders
  • Copies of all the relevant Documents to acquire the desired product and Photo to provide our services
  • Employment details, designation, history, salary, and benefits may be collected for retention purposes as required in compliance with prevention of money laundering rules, 2005
  • Your signature or consent to process your instructions received through our payment and delivery channels
  • Your feedback or survey responses or information obtained from mobile devices like location, storage, OS model, and app notifications may be collected
  • Your specimen signature or consent to process your instructions received through our payment and delivery channels.
  • You hereby agree that we may fetch or update your details from government-authorized agencies

Storage of personal data

  • Your Data is stored in a location maintained by us within the geographical location of India. Our data centre and systems are equipped with state-of-the-art backup and recovery software in India
  • We will not share your data without your consent and are committed to safeguarding it. We may seek your consent to use your data on occasions to entities required on a need-to-know basis. However, we may have to share your data with government agencies, and partners, for legal, and statutory purposes in the following cases:
  • When buying products through Fincover, which will act as an intermediary, you also become a customer of the respective financial institution and your personal information may be accessible to such institutions and their regulatory bodies

Fincover collects customer information for various reasons subject to applicable laws as mentioned below,

  • The details you share help us to improve our support service and clear user queries better.
  • Conducting research and analytics to offer or improve our services security and quality.

  • We share basic user information such as name, email address and residential address with advertisement agencies linked with us to serve you ads when you visit our site.

Purging of your data


  • You have the option to delete your FINCOVER account at any time by submitting a verification request to Fincover through our desktop portal, and mobile app. Once your account is deleted, we no longer would share your data. 
  • We will retain your data for as long as necessary, except for any record retention required by applicable by laws, including Security and Exchange Board of India (Investment Advisors), regulations 2013.
  • Under the PMLA guidelines and SEBI regulations 2013, all transaction records must be retained up to 5 years after account deletion. In the event of any pending regulatory proceeding or due to a directive from the government agency, we may have to retain your data for a longer period.
